据统计，国人的GRE写作平均分数在3分左右，对于GRE作文的要求，根据专业和学校的档次不同，而有所不同，一般理工科对作文要求不高，文科商科相对高点，新GRE作文理工科一般是在3.0，而经济类，文科的会在3.5-4.0。对于大部分学校来说，4.5分左右的作文成绩就已经是很好的分数，当然，排名靠前的部分名校商科等专业也可能要求更高的分数。

1.articulates a clear and insightful position on the issue in accordance with the assigned task
2.develops the position fully with compelling reasons and/or persuasive examples 3.sustains a well-focused, well-organized analysis, connecting ideas logically
4.conveys ideas fluently and precisely, using effective vocabulary and sentence variety。
5.demonstrates facility with the conventions of standard written English(i.e., grammar, usage and mechanics), but may have minor errors。
